For a decade and a half, Mrs. Waffles (as her students affectionately called her) has been in the trenches—designing programs that actually work, building bridges between high schools and colleges, and proving through real data that when we invest in students thoughtfully, they thrive. Whether it’s helping a first-generation college student navigate the application process or forging partnerships that create new opportunities where none existed before, Mrs. Waffles brings both heart and strategy to the work of advancing college completion and career readiness for high school graduates.
